As usual, Seoul YWCA would be hosting the 15th
annual Summer School for Korean adopted from June 21st through July 9th for a period of 3 weeks in 2004. We hope participants would benefit as much from our summer school for we hope to provide opportunities for Korean adopted to get acquainted and experience various aspects of their birth country. By sharing their experiences and visiting their birth country, we hope it could help youths shape their identities. There will be many diverse and unique programs which includes excursions to Korean companies, trips to other provinces with historical sites, traditional arts and crafts sessions, intensive Korean language courses, Seoul Tour (including visit to Demilitarized Zone) and lots more! Expert counselors would be present throughout the summer school session as well. FKA`s help in assisting the Korean adopted youths and promoting our program would be greatly appreciated. The tentative schedule for Summer School 2004 can be found on our webpage : www.seoulywca.or.kr (click on the left-hand bar written ˇ°SUMMER SCHOOL FOR KOREAN ADOPTEDˇ±) Sincerely, Gum Jung Oh (Ms.) Seoul YWCA Summer School2004 Program Coordinator |
